Having done some work with it in the past, my journey with printmaking really began my junior year of college. My exposure to this medium and all of its different aspects have thoroughly allowed me to explore my world as an artist, as well as my own relationship to it.

This piece I did in lithograph was inspired by my experience at the William and Mary printshop, at Matoaka studio. The building overlooks the nearby lake, and I have spent many mornings, afternoons, and late late nights looking out at it. This work commemorates my love for both Lake Matoaka and its studio.
